ABOUT US

We are the family of Jemimah Anama Noonoo. In honor of the love and respect we feel for Jemimah, we came together one year after her passing, to carry on her dream of developing a charity that would supply resources to the coastal village of Anomabu, Ghana.

WOMEN ARE CENTRAL

TO COMMUNITY LIFE, HEALTH, EDUCATION AND ACCESS TO FOOD.

The overall impact of women in the Ghanaian society has been momentous. The social and economic well-being of women as mothers, traders, farmers, and office workers has evolved throughout centuries and is continuing to change in this modern day.

EDUCATION IS THE KEY

a higher quality EDUCATION CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

At present, roughly half of all students fail their basic education completion exam and roughly 70% drop out before obtaining a high school diploma. For those students who do complete school, many are ill-prepared to find employment or seek further education.

This decline in the quality of education is reflected in the decline in the percent of trained teachers in primary education.
