Every child counts.

The name our founder Jemimah Noonoo chose for the charity she began to supply resources to the coastal community of Anomabu, Central Region,  Ghana. This year, we are continuing Jemimah's legacy of giving, with our Bearing Gifts Campaign.

OUR CAMPAIGNS

Our campaigns were to designed to support our efforts to build the foundation house in Ghana and to build awareness and support for our cause here in the United States.

The Jemimah Noonoo Foundation board of directors pays all administrative and fundraising expenses, so 100% of your donation goes directly to fighting poverty in Anomabu. We set a small financial goal to avoid overspending, keep organized, and to ensure that we are continually able to support and serve our community. We are committed to transparency and to ensuring that donors know where and how their donations are being applied.

support independence

The community is actively engaged in fishing, farming and petty trade for economic survival. These economic activities are done on a small scale due to inadequate financial strength.

BEARING GIFTS...

make a Donation

Our CEO and board of directors will be taking a trip to Anomabu, Ghana in June of 2018. We would like to christen our charity with an offering to the community of food, school supplies, healthcare basics, clothing and used ipads. More importantly, we seek to learn more about the region and to form partnerships with charitable organizations working in Ghana.

SHARING A DREAM...

volunteer or become a sponsor

We need volunteers, sponsors and staff members to help build awareness for our cause and to find opportunities for growth with businesses, healthcare and educational institutions. Join our mission to end poverty in Anomabu.

BUILDING A DREAM...

providing infrastructural support. BUILDING A DREAM.

Completing the construction of the house Jemimah started, is integral to the growth of our project. A settlement house will enable us to offer educational, agricultural and healthcare resources directly to the community.

Less sacrifices.

more choiceS. MORE OPPORTUNITIES. MORE IMPACT.

Victims of poverty often sacrifice what may be considered luxuries, but which may in fact be integral to health, development and safety. By providing Anomabu's residents with resources that target direct effectors, we may enable the community to improve it's quality of food, education, healthcare and transportation. Through relief, families are more equipped to use their scarce income to support themselves, their health and their children's education.
