Victims of poverty often sacrifice what may be considered luxuries, but which may in fact be integral to health, development and safety. By providing Anomabu's residents with resources that target direct effectors, we may enable the community to improve it's quality of food, education, healthcare and transportation.
We’re on a mission to give back directly to the families of Anomabu. Our Bearing Gifts campaign provides
much needed educational resources directly to the children in the community as well as classroom supplies
for the school, and school uniforms for each child. We always shop for items directly in Ghana and hire local tailors
so that we can give back to the small businesses in the community.
Help us provide school supplies to each child. We need to provide books, writing utensils and backpacks to each child to support their educational journey.
Help us provide the community classrooms with safe and durable resources that will allow the children to sit, store their books and supplies and focus on the lesson.
Help us provide the children with comfortable, breathable school uniforms and gym clothes. Each girl requires a dress and boys require shorts and shirts.
After a thoughtful discussion with our board and members of the community of Anomabo,
we realized that the best way to begin a relationship was to offer a token of friendship
directly to the people in the community. We took a trip in December 2019 to with educational resources,
hygienic supplies, and helped pay the school tuition of children in the community to relieve the
financial burden on families. Through our financial relief program, families are better able to use their
scarce income to support themselves, their health and their children's education.
