In line with the Gospel’s mandate, The Jemimah Anama Noonoo Foundation exists to empower families in Anomabo, Central Region of Ghana. Through education, access and giving we strive to obtain economic, social, physical, and spiritual security for the families of Anomabo, thereby encouraging the development of self-sustaining communities throughout Ghana.
To be a primary resource for education and healthcare, enabling Anomabo to become self-sustaining and to reach its fullest potential.
To support our goal, we are building a house in Anomabo. We plan to use the home to provide education and healthcare services directly to the community.
Anomabo is located in the Mfantsiman District of Central Region. About sixty-four communities are located within the Anomabo Traditional Area, and these communities depend on the same social amenities such as, schools, health center, police post and market.
Our foundation was built around the values set forth by it's socially-responsible founder, Jemimah Noonoo. Our goal is to aid in creating an environment where people follow their curiosity, and where a critical examination of ideas is welcome and encouraged.

Resources supplied directly to community members means less pressure on families and less sacrifices for the sake of nourishment. Consistent access to basic necessities can increase choices and in turn greater opportunities for parents, children and future generations.
Our approach is to give directly to the community members, providing access to basic needs such as school supplies and food as well as complex needs such counseling and skill-building courses to help empower our community members to succeed. The overall impact of women in the Ghanaian society has been momentous. The social and economic well-being of women as mothers, traders, farmers, and office workers has evolved throughout centuries and is continuing to change in this modern day.
Impactful change in Anomabo is sustainable through measurable, systemic strategies that tackle poverty at the roots. Our goal is to first understand the complex dynamics of the community we serve. Through focused, iterative development, we may collect data, measure our impact and subsequently devise more coherent, conscious strategies that support the sustainable growth of the community and the development of our foundation.
